Summary

This study aimed to test if a special pain-blocking injection given during surgery could help patients use fewer opioid painkillers afterward. It focused on people having weight loss surgery or other minimally invasive stomach procedures. The trial planned to compare two different numbing medications but was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
