New study tests whether linking patients to recovery centers boosts opioid treatment success

Summary

This study is testing a new program that helps people receiving medication for opioid use disorder connect with recovery community centers. The goal is to see if this program is practical, acceptable, and helpful for improving recovery. About 145 adults in Massachusetts who are on buprenorphine treatment will take part. The study will measure how many people use recovery services and how satisfied they are with the program.
