New anesthesia method aims to cut pain and nausea after surgery
NCT ID NCT07337135
Summary
This study compared two ways to keep patients asleep and pain-free during weight-loss surgery. One method uses strong painkillers (opioids), while the other tries to avoid them by using a mix of other drugs. Researchers wanted to see if the opioid-free method led to less pain, less nausea, and a better recovery for the 60 patients involved.
