Summary
This study tested a new pain-blocking method that avoids opioids in 17 teenagers after NUSS surgery for pectus excavatum. Doctors used ultrasound-guided nerve blocks with a long-lasting numbing medicine. The goal was to see if this approach could control severe pain without the side effects of opioids.
