Summary

This trial tests whether a newer ultrasound-guided nerve block, called retro-SCTLB, provides better pain relief after minimally invasive lung cancer surgery than the standard thoracic paravertebral block. Adults aged 18-80 scheduled for thoracoscopic lung cancer removal will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks before surgery. Researchers will measure the total opioid pain medication needed in the first 24 hours after surgery, as well as pain scores over the next two days, to see if the newer block reduces opioid use and improves recovery.
