Summary

This early-stage study looks at how opioids change breathing during sleep in 26 adults—some healthy, some with obstructive sleep apnea. Participants will receive morphine or a placebo to measure breathing changes. The goal is to understand the risk of opioid-induced breathing problems during sleep.
