First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving certain pain-relieving medications before and during nose surgery can lower the number of strong opioid pain pills patients need afterward. About 50 adults having nose surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the extra medications or a placebo. The goal is to find safer ways to manage post-surgery pain and reduce reliance on opioids.
