Could a simple online Check-In ease the burden of chemo?
NCT ID NCT04990895
Summary
This study tested if using an online portal to regularly report symptoms could improve quality of life for people with early-stage breast or colorectal cancer during chemotherapy. It compared this proactive tracking system, where nurses would call patients with high symptom scores, to the usual standard of care. The goal was to help manage side effects better and potentially reduce unnecessary clinic visits.
