NCT ID NCT05379699
First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether an online training program can effectively teach healthcare workers how to screen stroke patients for swallowing problems (dysphagia). Swallowing problems are common after a stroke and can lead to pneumonia if not caught early. The researchers compared the new online training to the standard in-person training to see if it was just as accurate. 82 healthcare professionals took part in the study.
