Can dancing online help ward off Alzheimer's?

NCT ID NCT06537648

Summary

This study tested whether a 12-week online group dance program is a practical and acceptable way to help young adults with Down syndrome get more physical activity. The goal was to see if this fun, social exercise could be a feasible strategy to help delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease, which is very common in this population. Researchers measured how many people stuck with the program, the workout intensity of the dance sessions, and any changes in fitness and thinking skills.
