First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether a therapist-guided online cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) program can reduce symptoms of body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) in children and teens aged 12-18. About 154 participants will receive the online treatment or a control, with follow-up at 6 months. The goal is to see if this approach is effective and cost-efficient for managing BDD.
