One-Week radiation blitz tested for breast cancer

NCT ID NCT04509648

Summary

This study is testing a much shorter, one-week radiation schedule for breast cancer patients who need treatment to the breast area and nearby lymph nodes. It aims to see if this faster approach is as effective as standard, longer courses at controlling cancer while checking for side effects and its impact on quality of life. The trial will follow 197 patients for at least five years to monitor their health outcomes.
