One-Shot wonder? trial tests single radiation dose for breast cancer

NCT ID NCT06946238

Summary

This study is testing if a single, high-precision dose of radiation is as effective and safe as the standard 5-dose treatment for certain early-stage breast cancers. It aims to see if the one-time treatment can control the cancer just as well while potentially being more convenient. The trial is for patients with small, hormone-sensitive tumors that have not spread.
