Pancreatic cancer trial combines radioactive injection with chemo

NCT ID NCT05131776

First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested a new approach for people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Participants received a radioactive injection directly into the tumor along with standard chemotherapy, aiming to shrink the tumor and control the disease. Only 2 people enrolled before the study was stopped early, so the results are very limited.
