First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests the safety of a drug called ONC201 (dordaviprone) in 36 people with a high risk of colorectal cancer due to familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) or a history of many polyps. The drug aims to kill precancerous cells without harming normal tissue. If safe and effective, it could become a new option to prevent colorectal cancer.
