New pill aims to stop leukemia from coming back after transplant

NCT ID NCT03932643

Summary

This early-stage study tested whether a weekly pill called ONC-201 could safely help prevent leukemia or MDS from returning after a stem cell transplant. It involved 20 patients who had recently received a transplant and took the pill for up to one year. The main goal was to check for side effects and see if the treatment showed early signs of keeping the cancer away.
