Summary

This study tested a new version of the Omnipod insulin pump (SmartAdjust 2.0) against the current Omnipod 5 system in 132 people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, ages 2 to 70. Participants used each system for about 4 weeks to compare how well they kept blood sugar in a healthy range. The goal was to see if the new system is safe and works better at preventing low and high blood sugar levels.
