Summary
This study tested the Omnipod 5, an automated insulin delivery system, against standard insulin pumps in 196 adults with type 1 diabetes. Participants used their usual therapy for 14 days, then either switched to Omnipod 5 or stayed on their pump for 90 days. The goal was to see if the automated system improved time in healthy blood sugar range.
