NCT ID NCT06274788

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether Omegaven, a special fat emulsion given through an IV, is safe for children under 18 who have developed liver problems from long-term IV feeding. The main goal is to see how many children develop a lack of essential fatty acids, which can cause skin issues, hair loss, and poor growth. About 40 children will take part, and they will receive Omegaven for at least eight weeks while doctors monitor their health.
