Doctors monitor kids on fish oil IV for missing nutrients

Summary
This study is checking if a fish oil-based IV nutrition product called Omegaven is safe for long-term use in children with liver damage caused by standard IV nutrition. It will follow 40 children under 18 who need this treatment for more than 8 weeks. The main goal is to see if they develop a deficiency in essential fatty acids, which are crucial nutrients for growth and health.
