Can your genes change how Omega-3s help your heart?
NCT ID NCT07078344
Summary
This study aims to understand if omega-3 fatty acid supplements improve heart health differently for people based on their genetic background and ancestry. Researchers will give 200 healthy adults either omega-3 pills or a placebo for 12-week periods and measure changes in blood markers related to inflammation and heart health. The goal is to see if a person's genes influence how well they respond to this common supplement.
