Can your diet calm your Heart's inflammation?
NCT ID NCT07331103
Summary
This study is testing whether adding specific omega-3 fats to your diet can help reduce chronic inflammation, a key driver of heart disease. Researchers will enroll 324 adults over 55 who are at moderate to high risk for heart problems. Participants will follow one of three diets for 12 weeks: one with fish oil, one with a plant-based oil, or a regular diet, to see which best improves blood markers linked to inflammation and heart risk.
