Summary
This study explored whether the amount of omega-3 fatty acids in premature babies' bodies is linked to a serious eye condition called retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). Researchers measured omega-3 levels in 62 premature newborns born before 29 weeks. The goal was to see if lower omega-3 levels are associated with worse ROP, which could help identify at-risk infants earlier.
