Virus therapy shows promise against tough ovarian cancer in new trial

Summary
This study tests a new treatment called Olvi-Vec, a virus that targets cancer cells, followed by standard chemotherapy and bevacizumab, in women with ovarian cancer that no longer responds to platinum-based drugs. About 186 participants will receive either the virus combination or standard care. The goal is to see if the virus can help shrink tumors and extend the time before cancer worsens.
