First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special diet that removes certain foods (oligoantigenic diet) can reduce ADHD symptoms in children aged 6 to 16. Fifty children were randomly assigned to either follow this restricted diet or a normal healthy diet for three months. Researchers measured changes in behavior, attention, and overall symptom severity using standard parent and computer-based tests.
