Sunflower oil study seeks clues to obesity complications
NCT ID NCT07027033
Summary
This study aims to understand if consuming oleic acid-rich sunflower oil changes how cholesterol is processed in abdominal fat tissue. Researchers will compare two types of sunflower oil in 40 women with obesity who are scheduled for weight-loss surgery. The goal is to gather knowledge about how dietary fats might influence obesity-related health risks, not to provide direct treatment benefits.
