Tiny camera could replace surgery for bladder cancer checks

NCT ID NCT07630155

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests if a very thin, single-use camera can be used in a doctor's office to look for cancer in the upper urinary tract, instead of doing it in an operating room under general anesthesia. Ten adults with known or suspected upper tract urothelial carcinoma will undergo the procedure. The goal is to see if it can be done successfully with less discomfort and fewer delays.
