First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how a common glaucoma eye drop (latanoprost with preservatives) changes the natural bacteria living on the eye's surface. Researchers will compare the eye bacteria of 45 newly diagnosed glaucoma patients before and after at least 6 months of treatment. The goal is to understand how the medication affects the eye's microbiome, which may help improve future treatments.
