Summary
This study looked at 142 adults who needed a root canal on a single-rooted tooth. They were given either octenidine or chlorhexidine as a final rinse during the procedure. The goal was to see which rinse led to less pain in the first 48 hours after treatment. Participants rated their pain at 6, 12, 24, and 48 hours after the procedure.
