First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a new, noninvasive eye scan called OCT angiography to see how well it can track blood vessel changes in people with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) during treatment. 49 patients were scanned before and after receiving eye injections. The goal was to see if this scan could detect early signs of the disease coming back, which might help doctors adjust treatment sooner.
