Zapping the brain to rewire fear in OCD?
NCT ID NCT06834217
Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain learns and unlearns fear in people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Researchers will test if a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique (tDCS) can help normalize brain connections and improve this learning process. The study will involve 180 adults (120 with OCD and 60 without) over three days of brain scans and learning tasks.
