NCT ID NCT05422469

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study aims to better understand how the brain controls behavior in people with severe OCD or bipolar disorder. Twelve participants who are already scheduled for deep brain stimulation (DBS) will wear devices like smart rings and watches to track activity, sleep, and social patterns. The goal is to link these behaviors with brain signals to improve future treatments, not to test a new therapy.
