Summary

This study followed 300 people who had a blood clot in a vein (deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism) to better understand the disease. Researchers tracked how often clots came back and how often bleeding complications happened. The goal was to find new risk factors and compare different treatments, including newer blood thinners.
