Summary

This study looks for the best way to treat people who have a blood clot (like in the leg or lung) and also take daily aspirin or similar drugs for heart disease. Both conditions need blood thinners, but taking them together raises the risk of dangerous bleeding. The trial will compare different treatment plans in 1,400 adults to find which one prevents new clots and heart problems while causing the least bleeding.
