Summary

This study tests whether inviting friends, family, or coworkers to join a weight loss program helps Black or Hispanic adults with obesity lose more weight. About 264 participants will be assigned to a lifestyle program either alone or with up to two social network members. The goal is to see if social support improves attendance and weight loss results.
