New obesity drug retatrutide put to the test in major weight loss trial

Summary
This study is testing different ways to increase the dose of a medication called retatrutide to help people with obesity or overweight lose weight. About 600 participants who do not have diabetes will take the drug for around 113 weeks. The main goal is to see how much weight they lose and how safe the different dosing schedules are.
