New daily pill aims to ease knee pain and aid weight loss

Summary
This study is testing how well and safely a daily pill called orforglipron works for people who have obesity or are overweight and also have painful osteoarthritis in the knee. About 800 participants will take the pill or a placebo (a dummy pill) for about 74 weeks. The main goal is to see if the pill reduces knee pain and improves physical function, while also measuring changes in body weight.
