Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called angiotensin-(1-7) to see if it can improve how blood vessels and nerves work in people who have both obesity and high blood pressure. Researchers will measure nerve activity and artery size during a short infusion of the drug compared to a saltwater placebo. The goal is to learn whether this drug might help protect the heart, but it is still very early research.
