Summary
This study aims to understand why fat tissue in the abdomen responds differently to the body's natural fat-burning signals in people with obesity compared to those without. Researchers will measure how fat cells release fatty acids in 24 adults with different body types. The goal is to learn what limits the body's ability to use stored fat for energy in people with upper body obesity.
