Summary
This study aimed to better understand how severe obesity affects pressures inside the chest during breathing. Researchers planned to compare measurements from two small groups of people: those with severe obesity and those with a normal weight. The goal was to gather basic knowledge, not to test a treatment, by using a special breathing tube and CT scans.
