Body Clock's hidden role in heart risk for obese adults

NCT ID NCT03388788

Summary

This study aims to understand how the body's natural daily rhythms (circadian clock) affect heart health, especially in people with obesity. Researchers will compare 16 lean and obese adults by measuring blood pressure and other heart markers at different times of day and in response to mild stress. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help design future treatments timed to the body clock to better manage heart disease risk.
