First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at how being overweight or obese might change how well treatments work for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Researchers will follow 120 adults with IBD who are on standard therapies, including biologics, to see if obesity affects their response. The goal is to help doctors personalize treatment based on a patient's weight.
