Summary
This study aims to create a detailed map of the different types of cells in body fat from older adults with obesity. Researchers will compare how a lifestyle program and an experimental drug that targets 'senescent' or worn-out cells affect insulin sensitivity and metabolism. The goal is to better understand the cellular changes in fat tissue that occur with aging and obesity.
