Summary
This study aims to understand how obesity leads to a type of heart failure called HFpEF, where the heart becomes stiff. Researchers will enroll 250 people with obesity and use heart ultrasounds, blood tests, and fat tissue samples to look for early signs of heart problems. Participants will be followed for two years to see how weight loss affects their heart health.
