First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether drinking oat milk daily for 4 weeks can improve bowel movements and ease constipation in adults aged 25-50. About 100 participants with constipation will be split into two groups: one drinks oat milk, the other does not. Researchers will track changes in gut bacteria, symptoms, and stool frequency to see if oat milk works as a gentle laxative.
