New DNA vaccine aims to stop liver cancer recurrence after surgery

Summary
This study tests a DNA vaccine called NWRD06 in 30 adults with a type of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that has been surgically removed. The vaccine targets a protein called GPC3 found on cancer cells, aiming to train the immune system to destroy any remaining cancer cells and prevent the cancer from returning. Participants will receive the vaccine after their surgery and be monitored for 72 weeks to see if the cancer stays away and to check for side effects.
