Can a simple nutritional boost improve surgery recovery for severe leg disease?

NCT ID NCT03529019

Summary

This study is testing whether giving nutritional supplements to patients with severe limb ischemia (a serious leg circulation problem) before and after surgery can improve their health and recovery. Researchers will enroll 30 patients and measure changes in blood protein levels and hand grip strength after 30 days of taking supplements. The goal is to see if better nutrition leads to better surgical outcomes for these high-risk patients.
