Brain-Boosting drink tested for stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT05474105

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether adding a daily nutritional supplement drink to standard stroke care is practical and acceptable for patients. It involved 24 adults who had recently suffered an ischemic stroke. The main goal was to see if patients could stick to the regimen and if a larger, more definitive trial would be worthwhile to see if the drink helps with daily function and quality of life.
