Summary
This study aimed to understand how what babies eat influences the development of their gut bacteria and their bones during the first three years of life. Researchers followed 2,760 healthy Chinese infants from birth, collecting information on their diets and measuring their gut microbiome and bone health. The goal was to gather knowledge to help inform future nutrition recommendations for children.
