Nurses step up: study tests if they can safely monitor cancer chemo
NCT ID NCT02956876
Summary
This study tested if specially trained nurse practitioners could monitor patients with colorectal cancer during their intravenous chemotherapy as safely and effectively as doctors. It involved 207 patients in France. The goal was to see if this new care model could free up doctors' time for more complex cases while maintaining high-quality, safe patient care.
